The eZfan Live Map is the most visually exciting way to discover content on the platform. Instead of scrolling through a curated feed, open the Map tab and see a live, animated world map showing every active stream as a glowing pin. Tap any pin to instantly join that creator's stream.
How the Map Works
Each active stream appears as a colour-coded pin based on content category: purple for music, orange for entertainment, blue for education, pink for lifestyle. Pin size reflects current viewer count — the bigger the pin, the larger the audience. Pulsingpins indicate a stream that just went live in the last 5 minutes.
Filtering the Map
Tap the filter icon to narrow results by category, language, viewer count, or geographic region. Use the 'Near Me' toggle to automatically zoom to streams within 100km of your location (requires location permission). Creators who geotag their content appear on local map views even when their audience is global.
Getting Your Stream on the Map
When you start a live stream, Live Map visibility is enabled by default. Creators can optionally set a geotag (city-level only — no exact address is ever shared) to appear in local discovery. For global creators, leave geotag unset and let your category, language, and viewer count drive map visibility.
Map as a Social Discovery Tool
The Live Map isn't just for finding content — it's for building community. When you join a stream from the map, you arrive as a 'Map Viewer' with a special badge. Many creators give Map Viewers a shoutout for being adventurous explorers — a small gesture that drives loyalty and memorable moments.
Upcoming: Map Events
The next Live Map update (May 2026) will add Map Events — scheduled streams that appear as upcoming pins on the map 24 hours before they go live. Fans can tap to set a reminder and show up at the right moment. This turns the map from a real-time tool into a forward-looking content calendar.
